The Chinese Heritage Centre organises guided group tours for our visitors.
Tours are guided by enthusiastic young undergraduates of the Nanyang Technological University, the Centre’s own curators and soon, members of Friends@CHC, who share our passion in preserving our heritage. Visitors can choose to explore the galleries in detail, reflecting on the stories told by each picture.
So far, the Chinese Heritage Centre has received student groups and individuals from Singapore and all over the world.
Guided tours (chargeable) are subjected to availability of volunteer guides and limited to 20 participants per session, on a first-come-first-served basis.
The tour includes:
Chinese More Or Less Exhibition (30min),
Nantah Pictorial Exhibition (15min),
optional 30-minute documentary (30min).
A tour without video will last for approximately 45min to 1hr while that with video 1.5hr.
As part of our community outreach programme, the Chinese Heritage Centre extends its invitation to educational institutes and other associations. Guided tours should be arranged no less than one week in advance. The Centre also wishes to limit tours to under 100 visitors at one time to avoid crowding.
